Sound Station’s founder, José received his basic training in the area of sound as far back as 1987, when he worked as an operator and sound technician in radio. He worked on commercials and journalistic pieces including award winning news features. José led and participated in several radio projects including station set ups. He left radio to focus on audio post-production, working in a number of leading studios. The birth, technical design and installation of Sound station in 1998 was the brainchild of his passion for the industry. Throughout his career, José has always been dedicated to sound, and has worked on literally thousands of radio and television commercials, sound designing for TV stations, entertainment programs, documentaries and corporate videos. José also gives relevant training in several educational institutions. Sound runs in his veins.

Ana Custódio

With training in Communication Sciences, it was in journalism that Ana embarked on the early years of her career. And since sound runs through her veins too, she worked as a radio journalist for more than 10 years. Ana then moved to the communication area where she developed dozens of special projects of company citizenship mainly in schools, with children and young people. Since 2007 she has returned to work on sound, and is now responsible for the communication and administrative management of Sound Station.

Rodolfo Teixeira

A permanent feature at Sound Station almost since the beginning, Rodolfo previously worked in advertising. He was a TV producer before joining Sound Station in 2002. Here at the studios, Rodolfo is responsible for scheduling, contacting actors and voice talent, creating castings to present to clients...and much, much more. After his career at Sound Station, and despite claiming that he is very keen on video…it’s obvious to us that sound now runs through his veins too!
